Sunrooms FAQ Why do sunrooms and patio enclosures from Bear Sunrooms cost less than the other Milwaukee companies?

Bear Sunrooms saves you money on three-season sunrooms, all-season sunrooms, patio enclosures, and patio covers by cutting out the overhead. You’ll work directly with the owner, Scott Bear. There are no salespeople, no showrooms, and no middlemen. Just experienced sunroom experts and a lot of satisfied customers!

What does it cost to build a sunroom addition?

The cost to build a sunroom addition varies based on size, style, materials, your existing home, and the options you choose. Scott Bear will go through all of these details with you when he assesses your home and discusses all the possibilities at your free in-home consultation. We guaranty that Bear Sunrooms will beat any legitimate sunroom bid by at least $2,000. For an estimate, call Scott Bear at 414-364-6002.

Is a sunroom better than a conventional room addition?

One big difference between a sunroom and a conventional room addition is the view! Instead of being just another room in the house, a sunroom is like comfortably living outdoors. The cost of a sunroom is typically less than a regular addition, and a sunroom can usually be built faster and with less disruption to your family’s lifestyle. Because a sunroom feels like an outdoor room, many homeowners choose casual furnishings and find that their houseplants thrive in this environment. Most Bear Sunrooms customers have said that their sunroom is their favorite room in the house, and they wish they had built it sooner.

Can I view sunrooms that were built by Bear Sunrooms?

Absolutely! To keep the cost of your sunroom down, Bear Sunrooms does not have a showroom. But we have many satisfied customers who would love to show you their patio enclosure or sunroom and tell you about their experience working with us. Contact Scott Bear today to set up a sunroom tour near you.

Do you offer a warranty on sunrooms?

Bear Sunrooms provides a lifetime warranty on materials and labor. We stand behind all of our workmanship and products. We’ve got you covered for as long as your sunroom is standing! View our lifetime factory warranty and our no-nonsense labor warranty.

What are the available sizes and dimensions of the sunrooms you build?

Bear Sunrooms builds custom sunrooms to fit your home and your needs. Our truly customizable sunrooms can be any size or shape you want.

Can you install heating and air conditioning in a sunroom or patio enclosure?

Yes. Our 4-season sunrooms come with the option to purchase heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

What are 4-season sunrooms?

Sometimes called an all-season sunroom, it’s the perfect home addition to bring the outdoors indoors every day, no matter the weather or season. Although a high percentage of the room is glass, a custom 4-season sunroom from Bear Sunrooms is insulated, maintenance free, and can be outfitted with heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

What are three-season sunrooms?

A three-season room is the most popular way to enclose your patio and the most cost effective Milwaukee addition! A three-season sunroom from Bear Sunrooms is an attractive, custom-built living space that will look as beautiful as the rest of your home and extend your enjoyment of the seasons.

What’s the difference between a 4-season room and 3-season room?

Insulation, glass, and heating are the big differences between 4-season sunrooms and 3-season sunrooms. Although both feature exclusive high-tech polymer base walls and fill, the polystyrene foam core has a greater insulation value in an all-season sunroom. Both feature high performance glass with UV protection, but the four-season glass is insulated. The frame on a Bear Sunrooms all-season room is thermally broken aluminum for no transfer of heat or cold. We construct our 4-season rooms with the option to be heated or cooled.

What are patio covers?

A Bear Sunrooms patio cover is an ideal way to transform your outdoor living space into a shaded refuge from Wisconsin weather. It’s a one-story structure with a roof and columns built to protect your outdoor recreational area. The high-quality patio covers we construct are known for their superior durability and style.

What are patio enclosures?

An outdoor enclosure is the best way to turn your patio into a room that offers more enjoyment of the outdoors with protection from the elements. Bear Sunrooms offers several types and options for patio enclosures, including porch fill-ins, insulated deck systems, three-season sunrooms, and sunrooms for all four seasons.

What are conservatories?

Conservatory is another word for sunroom, a room attached to the outside of a house with glass walls and a glass roof. A conservatory is sometimes used as a greenhouse.

What are solariums?

Solarium is another word for conservatory or a room enclosed with glass—including a glass roof.

What are other names for a sunroom?

In addition to being called a patio enclosure, conservatory, and solarium, a sunroom is also sometimes called a Florida room, sun parlor, sun porch, and California room.
